You also won’t have any of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Those will be unlocked as you play through the new mode. stats will be brought into Nuclear Winter, but you won’t have any of your Perk cards. You can wear your unlocked outfits, which can be equipped from the start in the staging area. You’ll be dropped into Nuclear Winter clad in only a Vault 51 jumpsuit with your Pip-Boy. Appearance will carry over from Adventure/Survival, but none of your weapons or Perk cards will. You can start with a new character, or you can bring a chosen character from Adventure or Survival Mode.Unlike in Adventure Mode and Survival Mode, VATS only works on AI and will not target other players in Nuclear Winter.Each of these Nuclear Winter-exclusive cards is built to better suit the faster pace of this new mode. These include Walking Arsenal (combines all the weight reduction benefits for ranged weapons into one card) Frog Legs (increases jump height) and Briefcase Bloodhound (helps you track down nuke briefcases). But be careful where you set up camp, because the ring of fire is still closing in and will make quick work of your settlement. In Nuclear Winter, you’ll take part in a 52-player fight to the death. Nuclear Winter is a 52-player battle royale mode that pits you against your fellow players as you battle for the role of Vault 51’s Overseer. The new Morgantown Nuclear Winter map will included in Patch 13, which will drop next Tuesday (September 10). I have reactivated these Assaultrons and unleashed them on the Morgantown region to provide an example for Candidates of the speed and effectiveness with which Overseers should eliminate their enemies.įallout 76 is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. While scanning the Morgantown region to assess its viability for testing, I discovered a small enclave of inactive RobCo Assaultrons from before the Great War. I expect they will eliminate many Candidates currently participating in testing. Colonies of hostile radscorpions have been observed attacking other lifeforms in the area without provocation. Candidates should be advised that the Morgantown area is home to predatory wildlife not found in the Flatwoods region. You may find it useful to equip perks that help with mobility and improve performance in the water to make your testing experience as enjoyable as possible. I expect geographical features in the region like steep cliffs and a large body of water will also provide interesting challenges for Candidates. I have provided ample weapons in these areas to help you eliminate your fellow Candidates. I encourage you to pursue conflicts in downtown Morgantown and Grafton so that I may observe and gather data on Candidates’ battle tactics while in urban centers. Morgantown and the surrounding mountains as the most viable location for testing while Flatwoods is being cleaned of radioactive debris.
